FAQ
The things people ask before they switch.
Do tasks turn into invoices automatically?
No — and they never will. Tasks and invoices are separate tools with separate lists, states and permissions. What exists is a shortcut: from a finished task you can raise an invoice with the details carried over, if and when you choose. Most tasks never touch an invoice, and plenty of teams use only one of the two.
Do we have to leave WhatsApp?
Not on day one. Most teams start by moving one project into Tapi — the one where things get lost. Because sign-in is a phone number, the people in that project are already reachable; you invite them by the number you already have.
Is Tapi an accounting system?
No, and that's deliberate. Tapi covers the part your accounting software doesn't see: the conversation, the tasks, and the invoices and expenses your team produces day to day — with the legal name, CR and tax ID attached. Your accountant still gets clean records; they just stop being assembled by hand.
What does “smart task detection” actually do?
It reads a message that contains a commitment — a request, an amount, a deadline — and offers a task with the owner and due date filled in. You confirm or ignore it. Nothing is created behind your back, and the task keeps a link to the message it came from.
Does it work properly in Arabic?
The interface mirrors end to end rather than translating in place: bubbles, chevrons, lists, sheets and dashboards all flip, dates and counts render in Arabic-Indic digits, and phone numbers hold their direction. The fastest answer is the language switch at the top of this page.
Can one person belong to several companies?
Yes. One number, many companies, a different role in each — owner of yours, admin of a client's, member of a third. Each company keeps its own teams, members and ledger.
